Overview
VTI's Chiller Proof and Leak Test Blast Booth is engineered to be a turnkey system that provides proof pressure and leak testing on medium pressure refrigerant chiller sub-assemblies.
This robust carbon steel Blast Booth provides protection to the operator and critical equipment in the case of a blast load failure during testing. The large swing out doors allow for easy, single operator transportation in and out of the booth. Testing pressures vary from 180 psig to 390 psig to accommodate different types of testing per customer request. After proof test, units can be filled with a Helium tracer gas for sniffer leak testing.

Chiller Proof & Leak Test Blast Booth
Overview
VTI’s Chiller Proof and Leak Test Blast Booth is engineered to be a turnkey system that provides a safe projectile contained proof test and tracer gas charge for chiller manufacturing.
This robust Xtegra “garage door” style booth allows for proper clearance of Unit Under Test (UUT) entrance and exit. The massive 25′ x 20′ garage doors are designed to maximize the internal footprint while satisfying the customer requested external footprint. Testing pressures vary from 10 psig to 100 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the UUT is dumped and exhausted through the four roof mounted exhaust fans, then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.
The control system is integrated with the customer’s database to provide real-time data. It is also interlocked with other equipment on the production line to guarantee testing requirements are met in production.

VTI’s Dual Safety Curtain & Pressure Decay SmartStation is engineered to provide a safely contained pressure decay test, evacuation, and tracer gas charge for A-Coils.
This durable vertical-rise ballistic curtain allows for easy, single operator use. Testing pressures vary from 200 psig to 350 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the unit is evacuated and then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.
The control system is integrated with the customer’s database to provide real time data. It is also interlocked with other equipment on the production line to guarantee testing requirements are met in production

Pressure Decay & Tracer Gas Charge with Ballistic Safety Curtain
Overview
VTI’s Safety Curtain & Pressure Decay SmartStation is engineered to contain potential projectiles during a pressure decay test, evacuation, and tracer gas charge for Slab Coils.
This durable vertical-rise ballistic curtain allows for easy, single operator use. Testing pressures vary from 30 psig to 1,000 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. Two independent manifolds allows two circuits to be tested in parallel. After the Pressure Decay Test, the Unit Under Test (UUT) is evacuated and then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.
The control system is integrated with the customer’s database to provide real-time data. It is also interlocked with other equipment on the production line to guarantee testing requirements are met in production.

Overview
VTI’s Rollaway Lexan / Ballistic Curtain Assembly and Pressure Decay Station is engineered to contain potential projectiles during a pressure decay test, evacuation, and tracer gas charge for fluid cooler unit manufacturing.
The two rollaway test enclosures allow for easy, single operator use. Integrated with the SmartStation, the two wireless sensors installed in both end enclosures sense the presence of product in order to allow testing. Testing pressures vary from 100 psig to 1,000 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the Unit Under Test (UUT) is evacuated and then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.
