Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Supervisor
Randy joined the VTI team in 2010 after serving 20 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sargent specializing as an Electro – Environmental Craftsman. Between deployments, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and Development from Spring Arbor University and then a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. Randy gained valuable experience while serving our country both in the USA and abroad – 14 years on various aircraft and associated systems and 6 years developing personnel management skills while recruiting enlistments and officer candidates.
At VTI, he uses this knowledge base to ensure VTI’s products are properly manufactured, assembled and tested while also supervising electrical, mechanical and other specialized technicians. He collaborates with the engineering staff to develop systems that are both efficient and user friendly.
He is a champion of continuous improvement using his experiences to improve processes and products in ways that are beneficial to both VTI and our customers. Outside of work, Randy enjoys fishing and is involved in various community and volunteer activities with his church and family.
