Dual A-Coil Ballistic Curtain & Pressure Decay SmartStation

Overview

VTI’s Dual Safety Curtain & Pressure Decay SmartStation is engineered to provide a safely contained pressure decay test, evacuation, and tracer gas charge for A-Coils.

This durable vertical-rise ballistic curtain allows for easy, single operator use. Testing pressures vary from 200 psig to 350 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the unit is evacuated and then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.

The control system is integrated with the customer’s database to provide real time data. It is also interlocked with other equipment on the production line to guarantee testing requirements are met in production.

Pressure Decay, Evacuation, and Charge (PDPlus2) System

Overview

VTI’s Pressure Decay, Evacuation, and Charge (PDPlus) System is engineered to provide reliable Pressure Decay Testing, efficient evacuation, and controlled tracer gas charge for A-Coil manufacturing.

This PDPlus2 is part of VTI’s Pressure Decay (PD) series. This particular PDPlus system is equipped with dual manifolds allowing simultaneous and independent processing of pressure decay, evacuation, and charging circuits. Testing pressures vary up to 1,000 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the Unit Under Test (UUT) is evacuated and then charged with customer specified tracer gas for subsequent leak testing. This system is also equipped with a recovery valve allowing tracer gas left in hose after charging the UUT to be reclaimed.

The control system is integrated with the customer’s database to provide real time data. It is also interlocked with other equipment on the production line to guarantee testing requirements are met in production.

Pressure Decay & Tracer Gas Charge Station with Ballisitc Safety Curtain

Overview

VTI’s Safety Curtain & Pressure Decay SmartStation is engineered to contain potential projectiles during a pressure decay test, evacuation, and tracer gas charge for Slab Coils.

This durable vertical-rise ballistic curtain allows for easy, single operator use. Testing pressures vary from 30 psig to 1,000 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. Two independent manifolds allows two circuits to be tested in parallel. After the Pressure Decay Test, the Unit Under Test (UUT) is evacuated and then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.

The control system is integrated with the customer’s database to provide real-time data. It is also interlocked with other equipment on the production line to guarantee testing requirements are met in production.

Rollaway Lexan / Ballistic Curtain Assembly & Pressure Decay Station

Overview

VTI’s Rollaway Lexan / Ballistic Curtain Assembly and Pressure Decay Station is engineered to contain potential projectiles during a pressure decay test, evacuation, and tracer gas charge for fluid cooler unit manufacturing.

The two rollaway test enclosures allow for easy, single operator use. Integrated with the SmartStation, the two wireless sensors installed in both end enclosures sense the presence of product in order to allow testing. Testing pressures vary from 100 psig to 1,000 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the Unit Under Test (UUT) is evacuated and then charged with customer requested tracer gas for subsequent leak testing.

A-Coil Pressure Decay Tester

Overview

VTI’s Pressure Decay, Evacuation, and Charge (PDPlus) System is engineered to provide reliable Pressure Decay Testing, efficient evacuation, and controlled tracer gas charge for A-Coil manufacturing.

This custom modular frame is constructed with 80-20 Aluminum, per customer request. The Lexan safety enclosure provides projectile protection for the operator and neighboring equipment. Testing pressures vary from 200 – 500 psig to accommodate different specifications per customer request. After the Pressure Decay Test, the Unit Under Test (UUT) is evacuated and then charged with customer specified tracer gas for subsequent leak testing. This system is also equipped with a recovery valve allowing tracer gas left in hose after charging the UUT to be reclaimed.
